Learn to Play Hockey program is for youth hockey players 14 years of age and under. The USA Hockey Program is utilized for this group. This is a great first introduction to the sport for our youngest participants. Fun games and skill development are the primary focus of the program. It is the target and goal of this program to instill lifelong enjoyment and love for the game.

Saturday 12 Noon to 1:00 pm.

The enrollment fee for this program is $65 for each 8 class track (If the gear is purchased at the Pro Shop). All children must be registered with USA Hockey in order to participate.

Learn to Skate USA

We recommend that skaters have passed the "Learn to Skate USA" Basic 4 level (or be proficient at that level) before enrolling in Learn to Play. This level covers stopping, and all the basic forward and backward skating skills that enable participation in hockey. Click here to learn about our great group Learn to Skate USA classes. Skaters can be evaluated by our hockey director at about the Basic 4 level to see if they are ready for participation in the Learn to Play Hockey Program.
